The Retail Car Company
Selling Luxury Cars
The Client
A long-standing Hong Kong dealer in top-tier luxury cars. For more than a decade they had reached buyers through magazines and forums. In 2012 the marketing director decided the inventory — and the brand — needed a site, tied into social media.
The Brief
A site staff could run: list cars, write updates, and let buyers browse stock without a phone call. Easy for the team. Clear for a customer looking at a six-figure car on a phone.
What We Built
A WordPress showroom. A new listing is: create, specs, photos, category, publish. The home page rotates featured models. The showroom lists current stock with a draggable filter and a model-comparison view. A Facebook page was set up for industry and company news, with posts pointing back to the site.
Who it is for
Dealers and showrooms whose catalogue still lives in a brochure or a forum thread, and who need staff to update listings without a vendor.
Outcome
Average visit duration landed around six minutes — high for this kind of inventory site. The dealer used the design; staff kept the stock list current.
What we delivered
- Inventory filtering
- Model comparison

FAQ
Questions we get
01 Can staff list cars without calling a vendor?
Yes. Create a listing, specs, photos, category, publish. Filters and comparison sit on the showroom for buyers.
02 Does a car inventory site work on mobile?
It has to. This showroom was built so someone looking at a six-figure car on a phone can still browse stock.
