The Secondary School

For Admission and Students

The Client

A government-funded secondary school in Hong Kong.

The Brief

Improve design, content, and structure so admissions, current students, parents, staff, and alumni could actually find things. Teachers and office staff needed to update the site themselves.

What We Built

A bilingual (Traditional Chinese and English) WordPress rebuild. Information architecture was recategorised. The header carries primary and secondary menus plus contact details. The home page has a featured banner and latest news above the fold, so announcements are visible without a long scroll. Sticky mobile menu, map, and a Facebook feed.

Who it is for

Schools and education bodies whose site has to serve five audiences at once — and whose teachers should not have to call a vendor to post a notice.

Outcome

Staff could update the site from the CMS. The school was satisfied with both the public face and the day-to-day editing.
