The Client
A sports association in Hong Kong. They run the national team, a local league and tournaments, and training and coaching courses.
The Brief
They needed a website and a system to manage league and tournament matches — fixtures, results, and player statistics, used later for trophies and awards. The public site also had to carry news, announcements, and application forms.
What We Built
A WordPress site with a league backend. Player and league data is imported before the season. Fixtures go in when they are scheduled; match and player data is imported after each game. News, announcements, and file uploads publish from the same CMS.
Who it is for
Sports associations, schools, and amateur leagues that still run fixtures and stats in spreadsheets, and need a public site the office can update.
Outcome
Players came back to check fixtures, results, and their own match performance. The site did the job it was built for.
