The Client

The Client is a sports association in Hong Kong. The association is responsible for managing the national team, local league / tournaments and some training / coaching courses.

Requirement

The client would like to develop a website and system to manage league and tournament matches. Information such as fixtures, match results and players statistics is required to be recorded. The data would be then used to present trophies and awards to the teams and players.

In addition, the website would contain the latest news and announcements as well as application forms.

Adopted Solution

The website adopted the WordPress Content Management System as the backend. For the league and tournaments, the players and league data would be imported to the system before the season starts. The fixture would be added once it is scheduled while the game and player data would be imported after every match.

In addition, news and announcements as well as file uploads can be done easily and published to the public with the use of the Content Management System.

Outcome
